Very bad movie.

The beginning was already quite unclear, partly because of the very bad/ugly black/white image. Acting is reasonable by some actors but very bad by others. Including Yvette Vickers who has to play Liz is very bad. Content is boring, just like the execution. The film often has many unclear, terrible amateurish scenes. The leeches ( :')) are very fake and ugly. For that time it could have been a lot better.

This is ugly material that comes from the worst B-grade.

1.0 for a couple of decent actors.

By the late 50s, titles with the word 'Giant' in them had dried up a bit. Then someone came up with the idea that a diving suit looks a bit like a big bloodsucker and a few modest adjustments later, the costumes were ready for this crazy SF horror. I don't need to waste any more words on it...

This is another typical example of such a mediocre, low-budget 50s horror. Some unusual monster has been invented, looks like a walking garbage bag (but is actually a leech), and in between a lot of bullshit the title leeches take care of a few kidnappings. There is not much more to say about it, because even in its genre this is not that special. I can stand bad effects, but this is just boring and what is not boring is illogical. Fortunately it only lasted an hour.
