Alien Strain plot

"A new breed has arrived."

After a disagreement during a desert camping trip, Matthew's girlfriend Rachel disappears without a trace. Matthew thinks his girlfriend has been abducted by aliens and visits the place where she disappeared daily. However, the local sheriff believes that Matthew is involved in her disappearance. Wanting nothing more than to prove his innocence, Matthew looks for people to help him with his investigation into the disappearance. Years later, Matthew is in a psychiatric hospital. During the conversations with his doctor, memories and secrets surface. But are these reliable?
