A Return to Salem's Lot plot
Unexpectedly, anthropologist Joe Weber is saddled by his ex-wife to care for their unruly son Jeremy. Joe travels with the boy to the town of Salem's Lot where he has inherited a house from his Aunt Clara. He immediately notices how deserted Salem's Lot is. The few people they meet also behave hostile and very strange. During the night, a terrified girl knocks on the door of the Webers.
