I also thought the first part was more than a fun movie.
But this?
I find this an insult to the intelligence of the average movie viewer.
There are more holes in the plot than in a colander.
I thought the opening was strong and then it's way down the drain!
If you're making rules for the movie, don't break them yourself.
If you can change through a few drops, why not change when the blood spatter splatters across your face?
Why keep walking with the same blood-soaked shirt after sex

Stupid actions by the heroes that you immediately question.
Those are just a few comments
I want to go a long way. But this is just stupid.
And then the end..... come on. That we have to believe that you really gave everything to survive, should this be the end?
With mind at 0 and view at infinity, this is bearable. Otherwise leave heavy left
1 star, but only for Lillith and the few gore effects

After the strong first part, this is a disappointment. Everything that makes part 1 a strong film is absent in this sequel. I am thinking in the first place of the strong story of part 1 and the lack of it in this sequel, in addition to the tension this was also hard to find here. Fortunately, there are still a few entertaining action scenes in this sequel, so the film was still worth seeing.

The story continues after 30 Days Of Night.

Stella is now a widow, and no one believes her stories about the vampires.

Yet she gets help from an unexpected source from Paul, Todd and Amber.

Having recently lost their loved ones, they are taking Stella's story seriously.

The only way to stop the vampires is to track down and destroy their leader Lilith.

A mediocre sequel replacing Josh Hartnett and Melissa George.

This was a stupid move anyway.

The film was directed by the inexperienced Ben Ketai who also wrote the screenplay.

Too bad that Rob Tapert still remained active as a producer.

The vampires in this sequel look noticeably worse, and the ending is mediocre.

Still, I thought the action here and there was still good.

2.5 *
