The History of Sound plot
In the year 1916, during the First World War, the young men Lionel and David meet. A few years later, their paths cross again in Maine. In the summer, they travel together in New England. Their goal is to immortalize the lives, voices and music of their fellow countrymen.

Pianist Lionel [Paul Mescal] and singer David [Josh O'Connor] met at the conservatory.
