I Grandi Condottieri plot
1000 BC. In Palestine, the Jews are oppressed by the Philistines. Samson is an up-and-coming Jewish revolutionary who has his eye on the handsome Philistine Semadar. She has little eye for him, unlike her younger sister Deliliah, who likes the strong Samson. During the marriage of Samson and Semadar, a fight breaks out, in which Semadar is killed. Blaming Delilah, Samson becomes a lone warrior who can easily take on entire armies.
