Dovzhenko. First Sight plot

Ukrainian Odessa, 1926: a city recovering from war, a city where jazz resounds and cinema is born. The young artist Sashko Dovzhenko seeks freedom in art—and encounters a system that prohibits dreams. His first film might well be his last.
