The Rare Earth plot

In 1968 and 1974, more than 40,000-year-old skeletons were found in Lake Mungo, a dried-up lake in Australia. They are called Mungo Lady and Mungo Man. In 2039, new, equally old skeletons are found in Lake Mungo. There is a metal hinge in the left knee of one of the skeletons.
