In the nineteenth century, somewhere in the Swiss Alps, far from civilization, three shepherds lead an ascetic existence. One night they drank too much and made a doll out of wood and clothes. This doll takes on the guise of a seductive woman, but is essentially a dangerous devil. The men must all fear for their lives.
