R.L. Stine's Pumpkinhead 2 plot

The student Evan finds a forbidden spellbook that revives an ancient curse over his hometown of Redhaven. During the Harvest Festival, children with pumpkin heads that were once sacrificed to the curse emerge from the earth and attempt to take over the city. The return of a witch determined to destroy the book seems to be the only hope of saving Redhaven.
