Die Puppe plot
The old childless baron Chanterelle wants to continue the family bloodline and calls his cousin Lancelot to order. The baron promises Lancelot a serious dowry if he marries. Lancelot, however, is afraid of women and is therefore close to despair. Until he discovers Mr Hilarius' workshop where living dolls are manufactured.
