Barbie Mariposa and the Fairy Princess plot

"Friendship overcomes any obstacle."

In this magical adventure, Mariposa is named Ambassador of Flutterfield and must set out to make peace between her fairyland and the rival crystal fairies of Shimmervale. Mariposa doesn't exactly impress their king at first, but she soon becomes close friends with his shy daughter, Princess Catania. Due to a misunderstanding, Mariposa is banished from the fairy land. She heads back to Flutterfield, but when they encounter an evil fairy along the way who plans to destroy the Valley of Shine, Mariposa heads straight back to help Princess Catania save her fairyland. The two of the girls show that the best way to make friends is to be a friend yourself.
