Poor fellow Jacob is often mocked by people because of his shyness, and he is also pursued by bad luck. And the king has already set his sights on his life. With a letter he calls Jacob to his castle, and had he not fallen into the hands of robbers, he would not have survived this day. But now Jacob is celebrating the wedding with the Princess. The mad king now sends him to the devil to get three 'golden hairs', in the hope that he will not see Jacob again...
