Vi på Saltkråkan plot

The Swedish Melcherson family has booked a holiday on the rustic island of Saltkråkan off the coast of Stockholm. Once arrived at its destination, however, the house turns out to be an old ruin, where it rains in on all sides. Father Melker does not give up, however, and starts to repair the house. Meanwhile, the children meet the girl next door Tjorven and her dog Bootsmann, with whom they soon become friends.
