Tre Nøtter til Askepott plot
Since her father's death, Cinderella has lived with her stepmother and daughter Dora on the estate that once belonged to her family. However, there is little sign of family cohesion. The orphaned girl suffers greatly from her stepmother, who sees her as nothing more than an annoying maid and treats her like filth again and again. But then she comes into possession of three magical hazelnuts with which she can conjure up robes like out of nowhere. Thus transformed, she meets the prince, who is in town to choose a bride at a grand ball. One of the candidates is Dora…

Ever since I was a child I have had a soft spot for fairy tales, thanks to my grandfather who was a great storyteller. I think the story about Cinderella (Cinderella) is the most beautiful fairy tale. There are numerous versions of that story. I liked this film adaptation of the version with the three hazelnuts, all the more so because the beautiful winter settings give the film extra cachet. Well done.
