The Clown and the Kids plot

Emmett Kelly (the famous hobo/clown) and his circus troupe arrive in a small European village. There they hope to give a performance for the local children. But as soon as they enter the gates of the city, they encounter a strong opposition from the inhabitants. The reason for the circus' fears comes from the town's evil leader, Jonathan Scragg, who hates children and any kind of fun.
