Storm is set in the medieval Low Countries, where 12-year-old Storm (Davy Gomez) sees his father Klaas (Yorick van Wageningen) being arrested. Klaas was caught by the Inquisition while printing an important, but forbidden letter from Martin Luther. Storm manages to escape with the original block letters and thus unwittingly becomes the center of the hunt for the letter. Threatened by the Inquisition but aided by Marieke (Juna de Leeuw), an orphaned girl living in the underground tunnels, Storm must race against time to save his father from the death penalty. What starts as an exciting adventure, degenerates into a fight for everyone's freedom.
