Skyjahöllin plot
Emil is eight. He lives in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. His mother and father both have jobs and little time for Emil. Sometimes Emil muses about the past, when things were different. His grandfather lives outside the city, in the mountains and when Emil hears that his dog has died, he starts saving for a new puppy. When his father bluntly breaks the plan, he buys the puppy anyway and leaves for his grandfather on his own.
