"In every year... in every life... there is a season of love."
Each year, widower Christy Byrne and his children travel from Nova Scotia to New York to sell home-grown Christmas trees. This year, Christy is also trying to find his runaway son Danny. Catherine lives in New York and has not celebrated Christmas since her husband passed away. Despite the fact that they have often crossed paths, their encounters remained very superficial. However, this crisis brings them closer together.
