The two sisters Angelica (11) and Lone (9) spend their holidays with two old people in a farm in the countryside. They think it's terrible, and they are not used to this life at all. They would much rather go with their parents to New York. And even though they try their best to look good, it's never right. Once the sisters are there for a few weeks, they see that these two oldies are not the worst after all. They come up with yet another plan when they hear that a modernized pig farm needs the land of the old farm for new stables...
