Sam Steele and the Junior Detective Agency plot

Sam Steele Jr. wants to be a detective like his father. At the beginning of the summer vacation, he turns his clubhouse into the Junior Detective Agency. He persuades girl Emma Marsh to become his receptionist, and thinks her dog is the perfect tracking dog. Meanwhile, Sam's father tracks down a burglar who breaks into museums, antique stores, and rich people's homes. After breaking in, he lays down a business card on which he calls himself 'The Cat'. Sam Jr. is determined to solve this case without his father's knowledge. However, Emma thinks this is not a wise idea.
