Max Minsky und Ich plot
13-year-old Nelly is top of the class, except in gym. The word 'sport' is not in her dictionary. But when only the girls' basketball team is invited to a tournament in Luxembourg, that suddenly changes. None other than Prince Eduard is the patron of the tournament and lets him be Nelly's prince on the white horse of her dreams. Nelly must and will end up in the team. She enlists the help of one of the neighborhood boys, Max Minsky, who can be found on the basketball court every day. He agrees to teach Nelly if Nelly does his homework. No sooner said than done. But now also Nelly's Jewish mother has the plan to celebrate Nelly's bat witswa. Where does Nelly find the time...and her prince?
