Max plot

Andy and his wife Jayne, former hippies, have settled in metropolitan Vancouver. They have a three-year-old son, Max. The little guy turns out to be suffering from a rare blood cancer and has only six months to live. Father Andy literally goes crazy when it is suspected that environmental pollution could be the cause. In the midst of his rage, depression and near madness, he decides to leave the city and - as befits the hippie tradition - to return to nature and with only one wish left: to have his son healed.
