Matchmaker Mary plot

"Three puppies, six lonely people and the little girl that brought them together..."

Mary Carver (Katherine McNamara) is an energetic and enthusiastic young girl. After passing an excellent grade on her sixth form final exam, her parents reward her with a puppy from Wayside Waifs, a local animal shelter. Mary not only finds a Labrador puppy here named Tillie, but also befriends two lonely people and persuades them to each adopt one of Tilly's blood relatives. Mary believes that simply putting two people together with the assistance of some sweet puppies will result in a loving relationship.
