Laura und Luis plot

Laura and Luis are members of an international gang of kids who have been trained to be pickpockets by criminals. Their fate seems to be sealed when one day they meet with a theology student Sebastian Crass. He has to bring a very important book to Milan as a courier. There he is attacked and robbed by Laura and Luis. He starts looking for their background and decides to take care of the children. With great difficulty he gains their trust, but the more he wants to help, the more he puts the children in danger.
