Herr Bello plot
12-year-old Max is the son of pharmacist and widower Sternheim. One day he meets a stray dog, whom he calls Bello. And he may love him from his father. Max can't believe his luck, until the neat but attractive Mrs. Lichtblau rents a room with the Sternheims. He doesn't like fleas-carrying and smelly dogs. One day, Max's father finds a strange bottle from his grandfather's time. However, the bottle soon breaks and Bello licks the released liquid. The four-legged friend turns into a human, Herr Bello. And in this new guise he causes even more unrest and chaos in the Sternheim household.
