Paul Andrews sets out to find his missing lover with the help of Buddy, his dog, after returning from war duty. They hop on a cargo to a lumber camp and when they rescue a girl from Martin Dain's clutches, they discover she is his lover, Caroline. When Martin kills the girl's stepfather, suspicion falls on Paul, but dog Buddy tries to extract a confession from the villain.
