"Happily ever after is just a song away..."
Elle lives for her dream of becoming a singer. She writes her own songs and performs in small venues. Her dream is shattered when her parents die on their way to her performance. Underage Elle is adopted by her uncle, who runs a small record studio. His most successful group is Sensation, whose music Elle cannot stand. Her background as a country singer makes Elle an outsider in the studio, where everything revolves around pop music. But when she meets Ty Parker, a famous pop singer with a sense of 'real' music, she is encouraged to fulfill her ambition.
