Defending Santa plot
Sheriff Scott Hanson stumbles upon a man lying injured and unconscious in the snow wearing a Santa suit. He takes him to the hospital and the man ends up in a coma. When the holidays arrive, the man magically awakens from his coma and claims to be Kris Kringle, aka Santa Claus. The town's residents are skeptical and he is put on trial to prove if he really is who he says he is.
