Benjamin Franklin, Jr. plot

A group of befriended children is angry because the Second World War causes them hardship and inconvenience. By organizing a commission of inquiry, Mickey, Froggy, Buckwheat and Janet try to determine what to do about the current national crisis. Using a handy copy of Benjamin Franklin's almanac, the children stage a play in which they come to grips with the sacrifices inherent in the war effort in a cathartic way and offer patriotic solutions to the situation.
