Alec to the Rescue plot

In the Kalahari Desert, Professor Richards discovers an ancient and very valuable Chinese treasure. His greedy sidekick Charlie immediately goes to Madame Wong, who decides to kidnap Professor Richards and his fiancée so she can get her hands on the treasure. When young Alec, the son of Professor Richards, is not picked up by his father, he begins to think that something strange is going on. He meets the young Themba and together they investigate the mysterious disappearance of Professor Richards.
