A Horse Called Jester plot

Tina wants to prevent the elderly horse Jester from being taken from the ragtag to the abattoir. With a group of children, she collects money to have Jester taken to a retirement home for old horses. However, Tina thinks she can communicate with Jester and stumbles upon some nefarious plans by a gang of mobsters to rob the local supermarket.
