A Dog Named Indie plot
Bella Channing and her grandmother, Lily, run a dog shelter called Bella's Rescue, for all kinds of dogs, including retired police and military. When their main sponsor, Stockard's Pet Foods, suddenly informs them that they have sold the business, not only is the sponsorship terminated, but the new owner also claims that the sanctuary is on Stockard's property. Faced with the threat of eviction, Bella and Lily search for the documents proving Lily's rightful ownership. When all attempts fail, Bella turns to JR, the son and heir to the Stockard estate, asking for his help.
