Return to the Scene of the Crime plot

Jacobs's return to a scene from the short film Tom, Tom, the Piper's Son (1905) - which he already disassembled in his 1969 masterpiece of the same name - could also be called 'Thirteen Ways to View a Scene'. Return to the Scene of the Crime is a presentation of thirteen different styles, revealing the hundreds of actions in that one scene: distorted, (mis)interpreted, as painting, abstraction, allegory and, ultimately, as ballet.
