Faust's Other: An Idyll plot

Faust part 2 turns out to be the modern Faust in a romantic intermezzo, an idyll (from the Greek idea, to see), also a journey of identity. The story is derived from the complex interweaving of human gesture, expression and physical movement. Within the vibrant colors and rhythmic shifts, Brakhage creates multiple levels of metaphorical meanings. A joint work with paintings by Emily Ripley and the soundtrack by Joel Haertling.
