What kind of movie was that? Eroticism with a tendency to a completely different kind of genre, although that is exactly what is spared. 
The bushes are abundant. So lots of nudity and sex scenes, often brutal or under authority, sometimes laughable...sometimes very bizarre (think of the scene with the horse and some sort of sex machine). There are also other cruel and brutal scenes such as the hunt for a servant, torture, unsavory scenes at a festive meal and a few gory scenes. Uschi Karnat plays a remarkable role as Catherine the Great of Russia in need of sexual indulgence. She can often be admired naked here and simply plays her role as a sex-hungry bitch well. Apparently there is another sequel to this movie. 5/10

Here's another gem from the sewer cinema 
Sometimes snap back to the 'Nacht vd Wansmaak' times, such films were wonderfully introduced by Jan Verheyen ("Max Rockatansky") and Jan Doense ("Mr. Horror"). Is this top quality... nope, this is cult for me, just like us Ilsa A few lovely scenes, a real family movie for Christmas.

Also one of the most historically correct film adaptations about Catharina.
Based largely on the Marquis de Sade's novella Juliette detailing the Tsarina's sexual escapades.
The gossip that Catharina dies after bestial penetration by a horse is unfortunately not scripted, but that should certainly not spoil the fun
