Zuotian plot
Movie star Jia Hongshen has his heyday in the late 80s in tough gangster roles, making him an icon of his generation. During the exercises for a stage adaptation of 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' he comes into contact with drugs. His previously unstable mind combined with the drugs leave him in a shattered state. Jia quits acting and isolates herself completely from society, including his family and friends, in a hotel room.
