Zui Ai plot
Two women, both widows, meet over lunch where they reminisce about their long friendship and their marriages. Both represent two extremes of the Chinese woman. Ming is traditional, obedient and homely. Wendy is creative, free-thinking and independent. Flashbacks reveal the romantic love triangle that nearly destroyed their friendship. Both loved the same man, who was eventually forced to choose between following his heart or living within the safe confines of the "middle-class".
