Zugverkehr Unregelmäßig plot
With the help of his friend Erich, Jochen lands a job as a station supervisor on the Berlin S-Bahn (city rail). Jochen had once saved the policeman Erich's life. They have been friends ever since and that's why Erich helps him after Jochen lost his job. But soon he finds that his work is not exciting enough, he feels called to do more. A secret agent from West Berlin recruits him to commit petty acts of sabotage. With the money he gets, he impresses Erich's girlfriend Inge, who moves with him to West Berlin. But when she learns that a major attack is being planned, she turns to her ex-boyfriend Erich.
