Zu Jeder Stunde plot

Until the land reform, most of the land in the Thuringian village of Altenrode belonged to the count. He still has many lands just outside the close border with the Federal Republic. In this region the young border guard Martin starts his service. On one of his first missions, he rescues the farmer's daughter Renate Wedel, who had fallen into a ravine. This could be the beginning of a love story for both of them. But Renate's father doesn't like this 'substitute' at all, even though he saved his daughter's life. He wants to connect his daughter with the son of the gentleman farmer Grabow.
