Zondag plot
During a night out in Rotterdam, 34-year-old Irish Renée meets eighteen-year-old Tom. He takes her home on his moped, somewhere in the countryside, and after a passionate night, he quickly disappears the next morning to play football. Renée thinks she can sleep through the night, but soon finds out that she is not alone in the house; Tom still lives at home. She wants to quietly disappear, but is 'discovered' and more or less forced to spend the Sunday with Tom's parents, his adolescent brother, the bright sister and grandma and grandpa. Despite everyone doing their best, Renée's presence acts as a catalyst on latent tensions.
