Zeit der Wünsche plot

Melike, Mustafa and Kadir, three friends from Anatolia, enjoy their childhood in the countryside. But life in the small Turkish village changes drastically when Germany rapidly recruits Turkish workers in the 1960s. Even Mustafa and Kadir leave their homeland to earn money in the foreign land. Melika stays behind. Her heart's wish, Mustafa whom she has loved for a long time, could return and marry her. But it turns out she clings too much to dreams...
