A newly married couple, Ya Nan and Guohao, meet a photographer, Xiaobing, on a trip. He says he knew a girl who looked like Ya Nan like two drops of water. The following week, Xiaobing and Ya Nan meet several times and her curiosity grows. He tells her about Jia Niang, an actress with mental illness. As Ya Nan becomes fascinated by Xiaobing's story, her own life begins to fall apart. She discovers secrets about her husband and suspects that he is having an extramarital affair. Meanwhile, Guohao begins to doubt Xiaobing's intentions. When Xiaobing takes the wedding photo of the couple, the two men get into a fight. That's the last time Ya Nan sees the photographer. She visits his friends to find out where he is, but not only do they look different from what Xiaobing described them, they don't know where he is either. They do tell her what really happened the night Xiaobing wanted revenge on the man who tried to rape Jia Niang. But who is that girl and what happened to her?
