Youth on Trial plot

Strict juvenile judge Julia Chandler wants to close a roadside restaurant, because this is a popular place for mainly criminal loiterers. The police organize a raid on Julia's behalf, but she is very shocked when her daughter Meg is also part of the rabble. Meg and her criminal boyfriend manage to escape. Julia puts pressure on the other detained youths to find out her daughter's whereabouts, but she finds herself in more and more trouble as her work and private life become intertwined.
