Disappointing film in which two best friends swap houses for a week due to circumstances. Much about this rom-com is forced. The humour, the dialogue, the overuse of split-screen and even the predictable ending. Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher manage to sell it themselves, but cannot save the film.

Meh.
Long-winded, one improbable ape after the other, and for a rom-come two rather deadly misses - there's no fun anywhere, and it doesn't really get credible anywhere that the two see something in each other. Kutcher surprises me as often with a solid role, Witherspoon seems to hang on autopilot.

Not really a rom bowl; both syllables don't really apply. Not really romantic, because the two main characters are in different locations for most of the film. Not really a comedy either, because the movie is really funny and I don't think it even tries to be. The movie is pretty lighthearted though. Despite the fact that I can't remember having seen a film with this premise before, the film does not feel very original, because it consists of too many familiar elements. Nevertheless, it was not a punishment to see the film and the actors do a good job. 2*.
