Yomei 1-Kagetsu no Hanayome plot

When Chie realizes that the treatment she is receiving for breast cancer is not working and she will lose a breast, she ends her fledgling relationship with Taro and leaves for nature after the surgery. Taro manages to find her and promises to accept her as she is. Their happiness is short-lived. The disease returns to her bones and the doctor predicts she has only a short time to live. Her father and Taro decide to keep this from her in order to give her a few more beautiful last weeks.
