Yesterday plot

1967. It's not just in hockey that there is rivalry between the English University of McGill and the University of Montreal, where they speak French; but an ice hockey match is definitely the time to take a hard look at the rivals and sworn enemies. American college student and hockey player, Matthew, also has his problems: The Vietnam War is raging and he would certainly be drafted had he not been granted a reprieve from his studies at McGill. During the match, Matthew meets Gabrielle, a French Canadian, who came to cheer on her team.
