Yan Lei plot

Detective Kuo is charged with a drug overdose case that resulted in the death of a young girl. His superiors see it as a textbook example of crime and urge Kuo to handle the case as soon as possible, but his years of experience and his gut tell him things will be different. His investigation leads him to a high-spirited college girl whose innocent appearance is overshadowed by a persistent grudge. And just as Kuo is on the brink of a breakthrough, there is a chance that his own dark past will be exposed.
