Yakushima's Illusion plot

Corry is a French coordinator of heart transplants in Japan, where organ donation is taboo. She is committed to saving a young man's life. Meanwhile, she is searching for her missing partner, who becomes one of the country's thousands of annual "Johatsu" – people who disappear without a trace.
