Xin Ling Zhi Ge plot

Urban DJ Li Tong Zhe goes to a mountains in Central Taiwan to record sounds of the Bunun minority for a commemoration of the Taiwan earthquake of September 21, 1999. While staying with Pastor Chuan, he has great difficulty with the worlds of difference between this farming village and its home Taipei. He meets teacher Zu Wei, who has adopted the blind 10-year-old Quisuel. He lost his sight and his parents during the earthquake and has been shutting himself off from the outside world ever since. Together with Zu Wei, Li Tong Zhe tries to encourage the boy to learn traditional Bunun songs and enter a singing competition.
